Faculty Hiring Initiatives

University Institutes and Centers (UICs) are eligible to hire faculty through two current initiatives.  In the Joint School-UIC hiring program, UICs can propose to hire tenured or tenure-track faculty with a school or department, and strategic funds can be awarded to fund the position in the initial years.  In the UIC Non-Tenure Track faculty hiring process, UICs can propose to the Academic Council to receive authority to hire non-tenure track, regular rank faculty, and non-regular rank faculty directly into the UIC.  Select one of the initiatives on the left for more information.
